The Sunday Ladies League is primarily a team entry league, individuals are welcome to register and the league convenors will do their best to help you find a team. We play 16 Sundays each season, including playoffs. Game times are at 4:30 and the schedule is posted in the League information annually. While we endeavour to play every other week, the schedule adjusts based on club events and special days. It is a great league to come out and play with the same ladies all year - a great way to improve your game.  Games are win/loss/tie and allow for rankings for playoffs where we award a League Champion.  The final play-off game culminates with a league dinner.

The Whitby Curling Club is proud to welcome participants and spectators to the 2020 CurlON Senior Provincials from March 16th - 20th, 2022.

The Whitby Curling Club COVID committee had numerous discussions about the Provincial Government's announcement to lift most COVID protocols starting March 1st. We've taken into consideration the recommendations from CurlON as well as putting the safety of our members and guests as the top priority when making these types of decisions.

The COVID committee has agreed to continue requiring that all members and guests be double vaccinated to enter the building.

Welcome to Hot Rockers Curling

Hot Rockers 2026 2

The Hot Rockers Curling league is a fun and active league for adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities. Our focus is to teach participants the sport of curling each week – in a safe, encouraging and inclusive environment. Once participants are comfortable with the basics, games are played. Participants are typically on the ice for 1.5 hours, and then stay in the lounge to socialize with a soda, coffee or hot chocolate following the game. Supporters are welcome to attend to learn to curl, or just spectate.

Thanks to financial support received from the Whitby Senior Men's Curling Association, Day Ladies Curling League and the Whitby Curling Club, we are able to offer this league free of charge to all participants.

Advanced registration is required. By registering, you are signing up for the season (October to April) so you do not need to register each time you come. It is expected that you will attend each week the league is offered (a schedule will be provided after registration) as the Whitby Curling Club will be preparing the ice for the number of participants who are registered.

There is some personal equipment that is required. Participants will need to wear clean flat soled sneakers. The Club has “grippers” for you to use each week which will go over top of your sneakers to ensure you don’t slip and fall on the ice. Participants are required to wear winter sport helmets (ski, skating or curling helmets). HotRockers 4

For safety reasons, participants are required to deliver rocks from a upright, walking position using a curling stick. A limited quantity are available for use at the Club. We do have a Pro Shop, if you would like to purchase your own equipment.

Please contact the Club's Manager at 905.668.5021 to learn more, or to register.
