As shown in the photo below, the first place winners for this special event were: Clare Kidd, Ted Birchard, Peter Fletcher and Roland Mackey.  In second place was Paul Slean, Don Fletcher, Cyril Turgeon and Armen Arkelian.  The following teams were tied for third place:  Bill Newman, Walter Mueller, Tom Kearns and Dave Humphries as well as Gerry Marois, Frank Meaney and Dave Jack.  Congratulations everyone.

On February 4th, the winners of the "12 foot" special event were: Trevor Wilson, George Bilodeau, Bill Fitzpatrick and Bill Newman.  There were two teams tied for second place and they were: Ted Stillar, Ron Robbins, Clare Kidd and Doug Sproul as well as Paul Slean, Bob Leczel, Cyril Turgeon and Rick Winkley.  Congratulations

2016 12ft winners


On January 7, 2016 there were two teams tied for first place in the Senior Men's "3-2-1" special event.  Shown in hte photo below are: Don Fletcher, Bob Ellis, George Bilodeau, Tom Munt as well as Walter Mueller,  John Soehner, Keith Howard and Ron Irwin.  All event curlers then enjoyed a great hot lunch upstairs.

2016 "321" winners


In early December 2015, the Senior Men made a $4970 donation to the Whitby Salvation Army.  The funds will be used to support the Salvation Army's Whitby Christmas Food Hamper Program.  This worthwhile tradition continues.....

As shown in the photo below, the winners of the December 3rd Mini Spiel were: Jim Hill, John Gale, Stephen Smith and Wally McBride.  The 2nd place team was: Gord Chapman, George Schwartzenhauer, Bob Leczel and Julius Zilinsky.  The 3rd place team was: Dale Boyce, Frank Meaney, Doug NcNabb and Bob Weckman.  Congratulations to all.

Club Information

The Whitby Curling Club is located in Whitby, Ontario. It is a Not-For-Profit organization that was founded in 1958. It has 6 sheets of ice, lounge, and dinning hall. It has recreational curling leagues for anyone 8 years old or older. It offers a great facility for team building execises and meeting space.
